piggy cupcake - apple and banana
(scroll down to read IN ENGLISH)

Some weeks ago, I baked these cupcakes for my two year old. I was inspired in this post of raspberri cupcakes: http://raspberricupcakes.blogspot.com/2010/10/piggy-macarons.html.  Of course mine look nothing like the macarons, but my little critique enjoyed his piggies. Now he’s asking for “cow cupcakes, please”.
The flavor of the cupcakes is not as funny as they seem but they are veeeery healthy. You may expect triple chocolate fudge or something like that. They are banana and apple. It is a recipe I use a lot, every time I have ripe bananas in my fridge. You can serve them for breakfast, snack, dinner or dessert. Here is the recipe of the healthiest cupcakes ever with only 85 calories per cupcake WITHOUT COUNTING THE FROSTING.  (if you know a healthier recipe please share).

Café Bibi ***** Obregón, México

cafe bibi comida españolaEstuvimos unos días en Cd. Obregón (Sonora, México) y fuimos a comer a Café Bibi.

We spent a couple of days in Cd. Obregon, Sonora, México, and we ate at Café Bibi. The ambiance, decoration, and the small wooden chairs are just like the ones in la Costa del Sol, in Spain. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed freshly baked bread. We had a paella with the best quality ingredients, the right level of humidity, excellent Spanish sausage and sea food and the right amount of saffron and red bell peppers. Half an order is enough for one person and for around 6 USD you can have a perfect paella.
Café Bibi – since 1960 – offers Spanish food, Mexican specialties, sea food and breakfasts. I’m looking forward to try other plates from the menu.
